Strong National Defense & Ending the War on Terror

I come from a family of public servants and my son is finishing his education at the United States Naval Academy.  I am a strong supporter of our troops and advocate for maintaining America’s global military supremacy.  American troops are currently in harms way in nearly half a dozen theatres across the globe with varying potential for attack or the outbreak of violence.  We simply cannot send our sons and daughters to these places without equipping them with the best weapons, body armor, and technology to protect themselves as well as to defend our nation and our freedom.  America has chosen the path of carrying the torch of liberty, and as we all know, freedom is not free.  We must be prepared to make the necessary investments to keep America’s military prepared and strong and bring our sons and daughters back safely.  I will not be subject to Washington’s political games with funding for our brave troops that might hamper our Generals and Admirals’ ability to protect this country.  I will always fight to protect those who protect us.
